| Quick Engine Change (QEC) To enable an Engine Change to be accomplished quickly, certain Components will be installed on the Bare Engine prior to its installation and therefore will not be required to be transferred from the removed Engine. These Components will be defined by the Operator as their QEC Components. These may include such Components as the Integrated Drive Generator (IDG), IDG Oil Cooler, Anti Ice Valve, Bleed Valve (ATA 36), HP Regulating Valve (ATA 36), Engine Mounts, Hydraulic Pump, Starter and Starter Valve. Depending on the Operators Computer System and Policy these Components may be in the OCCM or HT Status or on a separate OCCM or HT Status by Engine Serial Number. |
