Maintenance testing techniques which aim to discover defects in a material (metal or composite) without destroying the material, those includes but not limited to tap testing, eddy current and ultrasonic inspections or x-ray pictures of aircraft structure, Borescope Inspection, Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) etc.
