Supplemental Structural Inspection Program (SSIP)

SSIP (Supplemental Structural Inspection Programme) - Additional set of inspection for aircraft for such aircraft which are now operating beyond their designed economic life to supplement the main inspection programme. This additional inspection is termed as Supplemental Structural Inspection Programme.
