Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO)
Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization – an organization which has received an approval for performing airworthiness management tasks on selected aircraft types. Every commercial operator needs to be a CAMO, whereas private operators and private aircraft may outsource CAMO tasks to third party providers. A CAMO may also have the privileges to extend the airworthiness review certificate (ARC) or issue a permit to fly (PTF).
