Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA)

A certificate issued by the aviation authority. It states that the aircraft, when first registered in a given country, has met all airworthiness requirements of that country. In Europe, this certificate has no expiry date, although it may be revoked if the authority determines that the aircraft has permanently become non-airworthy
