| Line Maintenance The maintenance carried out whilst the Aircraft is in service either during its turnaround at an Airport (Line Station) or overnight or other period of time in its flight schedule when an Aircraft is not scheduled to visit a hanger for an Aircraft Check. This maintenance will include Defect Rectification (certain defects may require the Aircraft to be withdrawn from service and taken to a hanger for rectification), Daily Checks, Weekly Checks, Component Changes and Out of Phase Planned Maintenance. This maintenance will be entered and signed for by the MRO in the Aircraft Technical Log which may be supported by Task Cards/Work Sheets. |
